Nicolasa Yáñez Rodríguez of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 13, 2015. She was born in Karnes City, Texas on September 10, 1930 to Eustolia and Jose Yáñez. She was married to Domingo Rodríguez for 32 years. Nicolasa Rodríguez was a dedicated housewife and mother. She was a member of Templo Emmanuel in Brownsville, Texas; Templo Jerusalen (Houston); and attended Comunidad de Gracia, Clearlake Campus; and Grace Church with Pastor David Scarpeta for the past three years. She enjoyed reading her bible, gardening, and drinking coffee every morning, but most of all, she loved praying for her family and the sick. She was preceded in death by her son, Apolinar Rodríguez; and husband, Domingo Rodríguez. She is survived by her children Laura, Nicky, Emma, Victor, Eleazar, Rafaela, Martin, Esperanza, Estela, Olga, and Dominga; and 56 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Jul 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Community Church in Houston, Texas.
