Oscar Martinez, 66, of Deer Park, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He was born in Pasadena on November 11, 1948. Oscar graduated from South Houston High School. He was married to Donna Martinez on June 15, 1979. Oscar retired from Chevron Phillips. He was a member of Texas Parks and Wildlife and had a passion for fishing, golfing, gambling, and especially his grandchildren.
Oscar is survived by wife Donna Martinez; daughter Angela Copple and husband Jeff Copple and their children Bryce, Rylan, and Brayden; daughter Audrey Marlow and husband Wade Marlow and their child Tyler; sister Alma Rosenfelder; and brothers Daniel and Gilbert Martinez.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with interment to immediately follow in Forest Park East Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Jeff Copple, Herbie Johnston, Terry Woolley, Kenny Reid, Sang Nguyen, and Charles Bass.
