Patricia Louise Lucas

Patricia was born in Broken Bow, OK on December 21,1944 to Clayton Wallace Atwood and Verna Louise (Cauthen) Atwood.

The family moved to Houston, TX where Patricia graduated from Klein High School in 1963. After graduation, Patricia went to work for Harrison Equipment and worked there for over 20 years followed by a career with Continental Airlines in Crew Scheduling where she worked until her retirement.

Patricia's faith and belief in God and Church was strong and she met a man with the same great faith, a Youth Minister, named Ronald J. Lucas. Pat and Ron married on May 16th, 1970 and together they had a son, Ronald Brett Lucas, to whom they were both very devoted.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband and caregiver Ronald J. Lucas and her beloved son Ronald Brett Lucas of Pearland TX

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Clayton and Louise Atwood, her brother Clayton Wayne Atwood, her eldest sister Evelyn Atwood Wedgeman and her youngest sister Rhonda Atwood Barnhill.

She is survived by brothers Weldon Atwood, Bill Atwood, Sam Atwood and wife Shirley, and two sisters Janis Atwood Bedford and husband Ron, and Marilyn Atwood

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored

Patricia was a member of the South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena, TX and leaves behind many friends there who have been an emotional and spiritual blessing and support to her over the years, as well as many grade school and high school friends that she has stayed in touch with throughout her life.

Patricia will be greatly missed by all who loved her and all whose lives she touched.

More than anything, Patricia loved the Lord our God and we can all take comfort in knowing that she is now at rest with her Heavenly Father.
