He became a Harris County Deputy Sheriff retiring with 27 years of service. Most of his retirement years were spent tending to his cattle and horses in Limestone County. Being a democrat to the core caused many fun conversations with his 3 conservative children. He enjoyed playing the stock market, buying and selling land, BBQ cook offs, the rodeo and hanging out with his friends. He was a long time member of the Park Place Masonic Lodge No. 1172. His family would like to thank those at Baywind Village in League City who loved him dearly and took care of him.
