Richard Mathew Blank

Richard “Rich” Mathew Blank, age 69, passed away at his home surrounded by loving family in Seabrook, Texas on Tuesday, September 27th 2022 after a hard fought four-year battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Kram, and his father, Jesse Blank.
Rich is survived by his beloved wife Jane Simms Blank, sisters Debbie Pohler, Dorrie Prinster (Steve) and Nancy Ramirez (Scott), brother Jeff Blank, daughters Tracy Blank-Smith, Jennifer Sebold (Bernie), Jackie Rasco (Billy) and Julie Garrett, grandchildren Marty, Tavi, Jessica, Dallas, Hayden, Colton, Layni, Grayson, Jace, Kylie, Chloe and Kellen, five great-grandchildren and countless family and friends.
Rich was a loving husband, doting father and grandfather, a cherished brother, and pillar of the family. He was a natural businessman, handyman, tinkerer, avid outdoorsman, lover of music and all things with an engine. His contagious laugh and sense of humor were second to none, up until the very end. He was a one-of-a kind legend who lit up every room he walked into. His beautiful spirit will be fiercely missed by all.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 8th 2022 at 9:00AM and a Memorial Service will start at 10:00AM. Forest Park East - 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598 Reception to follow immediately after.
