She was a devoted wife to Richard P. Hinton for 66 years whom preceded her in death. She was a member of the Catholic Church and had many activities she enjoyed. One was shopping, not buying, but shopping. She also was a big lover of travel which she did often with her husband, friends and children. She especially loved cruising where she could have a complete and enjoyable experience while visiting many exciting places around the world.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Russell M. and Mary C. Owens, her sister Patricia Blankenship and also, one grandchild, Katherine M Mayer.
She is survived by her five children, Gary Hinton, Karen Peterson, Andy Hinton, Vicki Mayer and Mary Ann Benfield along with 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
