Robert was born November 25, 1946, in Houston, Texas. He resided in Bacliff, Texas. He worked as a police officer, a volunteer fireman and first responder for the Pasadena Police and Fire Departments.
Robert was known for his embellished renditions of stories, outgoingness and would befriend just about anyone he met. He enjoyed spending time with family, working with his hands and drinking a cold beer. He was an honest, caring, protective, and hardworking man. He was well loved and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife Vercie McWilliams; his sons Robert McWilliams Jr. and wife Vickie, Gary McWilliams and wife Jennifer; his three grandchildren Jared McWilliams and wife Brianna, Hunter McWilliams, and Heather McWilliams; his brother Joe McWilliams and wife Paula and his fur babies, Simon and Sasha.
He is preceded in death by parents, George W McWilliams Jr. and Ava Lenora McWilliams, and brother George McWilliams.
Services will be held at 2:00, Tuesday, Feb 23, 2021, at the Forest Park East Funeral Home, Sonny Beck will officiate. After the service a reception will be held at the home of Robert & Vickie McWilliams.
