Rodolfo M. Hinojosa

He was born in Paras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on August 28, 1940 to Romero Hinojosa and Narcedalia Maldonado. He was married to Apolonia G. Hinojosa for 53 years. Rodolfo had a career in the music industry as a lead singer while playing a 12 string guitar in a band in Chicago, IL. After moving to Houston, Texas he was self-employed in the earth hauling business until he retired in 2010.

He especially treasured time with his family and loved ones. He had a passion for barbequing for them, telling jokes, loved gambling especially playing the slot machines and spoiling his doggy, Luna.

He is survived by his wife Apolonia G. Hinojosa; son Rudy Hinojosa Jr., his wife Tamura Hinojosa and granddaughter Ellie; son Jose R. Hinojosa, wife Bekah Hinojosa and grandchildren Sarah, Audrey, Nathan, Evan; daughter Apolonia H. Farinacci, husband Tommy Farinacci and grandchildren, Nia, Alicia, Tre and numerous extended family members and friends.

A memorial gathering for Rodolfo will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM for family visitation followed by a celebration of life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
