A much loved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother; Roger Britz fifty-nine of League City, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home November 20, 2012 with his family present. He had bravely confronted and fought cancer.
He was born August 13, 1953 in Corpus Christi, TX, and resided in the League City area for the past thirty-three years. He graduated from Ingleside High School in 1971. Roger was in the United States Army from 1974-1979, and received an honorable discharge.
Roger was employed at the Celanese Chemical plant from 1980-2012. He loved fishing, hunting, motorcycles, family, and football; especially the Houston Texans.
He is survived by his wife Elaine Darst Britz of 40 years, daughter Alisha Britz Wright, son Michael Britz, grandson Aren Wright, granddaughters Cailyn Wright and Mazzy Britz, mother Clois Goodman, brother Mark Britz, sisters Clois Brewster and Dawn Johnson, and many other loved family members.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, TX.
