Rosalie A. Commiato, age 96, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nick Commiato. Her mother and father Tony and Marry Ropollo, 12 sisters and brothers. Rosalie is survived by her daughter Pat and husband, David Mathes; son John and wife Terri Commiato; grandsons Nick Commiato and Garrett Commiato; granddaughters Kimberly and her husband Doug Stripling; Ashley and her husband Chris Pyle; great grandsons Ty Tuttle and Hunter Pyle; and many nieces and nephews. The pallbearer’s for Rosalie will be Nick Commiato, Garrett Commiato, Tony Ropollo, Chancey Miller, Skip Pilcher and Billy Gross.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, April 18, at Forest Park East, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 8150 Park Place Blvd. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
