

Roy B. Kohlmann passed away January 11, 2011 at home in Houston, Texas. He was born April 2, 1920 in Galveston, Texas to Richard & Catherine Neiman Kohlmann. Roy worked for PPG for 30 years. He was active in the BSA for many years. Roy was a member of the West University Church of Christ. Before becoming ill, Roy enjoyed traveling around the world. He volunteered at the Hospitality apartments for many years. Roy was a generous man, always ready to help anyone in need.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred; children, Karen & husband, Nick Voris; Gale & husband, Dan Salak and Keith Branner; sister, Catherine Neel; grandchildren, Rebekah Smith, Bobby Whisnand, Karen Sokol, Theresa Sokol & her husband, Bryan, Garrett Branner & his wife, Ashley and Justin Branner and his wife, Allison and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011 until funeral services begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment will follow.
