BB went to T.H. Rogers School and was in the Trinity Ward at Richmond State School. He was living in a group home in west Houston and a part of the 4 J’s Community Living Center. He was baptized at an early age by Pastor J.E. Coleman from First Elizabeth Baptist Church. BB was fun loving, always smiling! He loved to dance and play jokes on his brothers and cousins. BB loved music and sometimes had a smart mouth. His smile and fun loving nature will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert King and Patricia Lockett; brother Tony Lockett; aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
He is survived by his brothers Terrel Lockett and Torrey Lockett; cousin Harlane Lockett; aunt Betty Lockett; uncle Troy Lockett; guardian Shikara Taylor and his family at 4 J's Community Living Center along with a host of family and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Russell's Celebration of Life will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel and an interment in Forest Park East Cemetery.
