Sammy Patton, 72, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away on November 24, 2023. He was born in Texas City, Texas on October 4, 1951 to Raybon and Sybil Patton. He has been together with Janet Anders for 18 years, married for the last 10. Sammy had a career in the boating Industry and was the owner of Bacliff Marine. He was a member of the Bayshore Chamber of Commerce and had a passion for fishing, boating, travel and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Margie Brannon and Paula Dark and his brother Dale Patton.
He is survived by his wife Janet Anders, sister Norissa Morris; 3 children Dawn Patton, Jennifer Edwards and Shawn Patton; 7 grandchildren Darian Lockwood, Jordan Lockwood, Ayden Patton, Kyndra Jeter, Makayla Marquez, Skylar Patton and Carter Patton and 2 great grandchildren Amara & Damian Marquez.
A visitation for Sammy will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with funeral service and committal service to follow at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
