Sherman Eads (age 55) was a caring, deeply loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina moving to Seabrook Texas in 1977 where he graduated from Clear Lake High School. He later joined and proudly served our country in the U.S. Marines which included an overseas deployment. After his time in the military, he returned to Seabrook.
He was devoted and remained committed throughout his life to his daughter, Kami. He enjoyed mechanics, fishing, working with his hands, and football. However, his very favorite sport was baseball and “HIS” team, the Astros. Sherman enjoyed music his entire life especially the bands Rush and Pink Floyd. His two favorite songs were “Hot Dog” by Led Zeppelin (look it up) and “The Ballad of Curtis Loew” by Lynyrd Skynyrd. His most favorite song was “Wish You Were Here” by Pink Floyd.
Sherman also loved animals and getting together with family and friends. One of the family’s favorite memories was his “music trivia” knowledge and playing “name that tune.” Sherman never met a stranger and would help anyone in need if he could. He was sincere and you knew that when he told you he loved you, he really meant it.
Throughout his life, Sherman had a relationship with Jesus Christ. He was spiritual and would talk often about this relationship.
The last six months of his life were some of the best of times spending it with his sister, Deborah. He was always ready with a good joke and a wonderful laugh. His favorite saying was K.I.S.S. which means Keep It Simple Stupid. He learned this from his “Pawpaw” Archie.
He will be forever missed.
