A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, and pilot, Bill lived a life defined by service, faith, and love for his family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lula Pearl Larsen, and his eldest son, Kenny Larsen.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Bill loved his country deeply and carried that pride throughout his life. Serving as a pilot for many years, he treasured the gift of flight and often spoke of how much he loved having his wings.
Known for his humor, warmth, and unmistakable charm, Bill had a way of making people feel welcome wherever he went. With Yankee roots and the easy grace of Southern hospitality, he carried himself with a confidence and kindness that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Beyond his devotion to family and country, Bill gave generously of his time to others. He dedicated countless hours volunteering in support of individuals with disabilities and special needs, offering encouragement, patience, and friendship to those who needed it most. He also served as a dedicated officer of the American Legion, where he worked tirelessly to support and advocate for fellow veterans.
Bill was a man of Christian faith and lived with a quiet confidence in the promise of eternal life.
He is survived by his sons, Tommy Larsen (Cheryl) and Timmy Larsen; his grandchildren, Chad, Lacey, and Haley; his great-grandchildren, Trey, Knox, Ripken, Ryder, Rafe, Pete, Ace, Isabella, and Lou; and his great-great-granddaughter, Haizyl.
He will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife, Lou, reunited once again.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX. Visitation will be held from 2:00–2:30 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2:30 p.m. and concluding at 3:30 p.m., followed by a graveside service with military honors.
Though he will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, his family takes comfort in knowing he has been welcomed home in Heaven — his race finished, his faith fulfilled, and his wings restored.
