Known for an unforgettable laugh and larger than life heart, Andy found joy in taking care of others. Another passion of Andy’s was art. He spent much of his free time making drawings, paintings and two way mirror shadow boxes. He began gardening in his later years. Being able to share his plants with the residents of his nursing home and family brought delight to his caretaking heart. He also had a deep appreciation for music.
Andy’s biggest pride and joy came from being a great father to his two children, Thomas Jr. and Amanda. Above everything, Andy loved his children, his grandchildren, his momma and his family more than anything in the world. He lived every day for them.
He was preceded in death by his father, Payton Stark.
Left to cherish Andy’s legacy are his daughter Amanda Ring and husband Elliot, son Thomas Stark Jr, grandchildren Bella, Hunter, Brooklyn, Samuel, and David. He also leaves behind the mother of his children Carri Stark, mother Gladys (Knighton) Stark, siblings Danny Stark, Charlie Stark, and Julia Vat.
A Celebration of Andy’s life will be held Sunday, February 18 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas. Family and friends are invited for a reception and fellowship immediately following Andy’s Life Celebration.
He will always be remembered for his big heart, his love of family, and the way he took care of others. His laugh and his heart will be with us always.
