Wanda Britt Sory of Orlando, Florida passed away August 16, 2024. She was born in Tenaha, Texas on March 3, 1929. She was married to Allen for 65 years. Wanda had a career with Southwestern Bell (now AT&T) as a legal secretary. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Pasadena and also attended Faith United Methodist Church in Orlando. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, traveling and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by husband, Allen; parents, Lee and Lucy Britt; brothers, Donald and Frank Britt; and granddaughter Donna Brown.
She is survived by her son, Steve Sory and wife Laural; daughter, Sheryl Tous and husband Jorge; grandchildren, Teresa Queal, Kina Williamson and husband John, Denise Wood and husband Joe, Julia Tous, Anna Tous; great grandchildren, Justine Sory, Daniel Sory, Cameron Queal, Jordan Queal, Austin Queal and Viktor Tous-Cofield; great-great grandchildren, Addison Sory and Peter Sory.
A funeral service will be held in Houston, Texas. She will be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
