Dear Collier Family,
I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.  Although I did not personally know William, I see the impact he had on those around him and I know he was loved dearly and loved all of you deeply. May you find strength and comfort in the cherished memories of your loved one.

I had the honor of knowing Mr. Collier for five of his 92 years.  We talked a lot about his growing up in Paris, TX, working in Bunkie, LA,  his time in the US Air Force, (He could quote the exact number of years, months, days and minutes), fishing with his friends and boys, his days as a band director.  He also told me about the summer he worked on the coast at one of the plants and decided to pursue new career opportunities  when his first weekly paycheck was greater than a month's pay as a teacher.  He attended many local sporting events with me and my friends and loved watching his granddaughter play high school basketball.  He could be seen all over Tuscan Lakes and Bevil Oaks riding his bike.  And, when not lifting weights he could be found watching Gunsmoke and John Wayne movies.  A life well lived.
