Jeanne Maclauchlan, “Yeanie,” “Jeanie Mac,” 71 of Wellfleet passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends on Nov 10, 2025. Born in Rochester NY Oct 1, 1954 she moved to Wellfleet 27 years ago.

A dedicated employee of the Town of Wellfleet for more than 20 years she loved her adopted hometown.

More than anything she loved her “Sunshine” her granddaughter, Emily. Emily came as a surprise to her in February 2019 and immediately became the joy of her life.

Jeanne is survived by her son, Maxwell, daughter in law, Kali and granddaughter, Emily. She is also survived by 4 brothers and 4 sisters, Dick, Rob, Dorine, Sue, Bruce, April, Judy, Steve, sisters in law Helen, Paulette and Linda, brothers in law Chuck and Luis, cousins, nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and cousin “My Mikey Flanagan.” She was preceded in death by her brother Peter.

A Celebration of Life for Jeanne will be held in Wellfleet at a later date.
