Kathi E. Marissal

Kathi (Kat) Ellen Marissal of North Truro, MA passed away on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025 at the age of 71. She was born on January 2, 1954 in Nyack, NY to her Mother, Catherine Margaret Collignon and Father, Robert Gustave Marissal. She graduated from Tappan Zee High School in Orangeburg, NY. in 1972.

Kat worked many different jobs throughout her life. She relocated to South Portland, ME where she owned & operated an apartment building. This is when she met her partner, Paula Candage. Most recently they had been self employed as Property Managers for several years in their area.

She was actively involved in playing guitar, singing, acrylic painting, volunteering at CASAS (animal shelter) for several years. She was also devoted to her parents and caring for them as they aged.

She is preceded in death by her Mother & Father and a few close friends.

She is survived by her life partner, Paula Candage & Paula’s family, her close cousin, Christine Mueller and Christine’s children, Beth Speno & Corina Mueller.

The family would like to thank the Seashore Pointe Wellness & Rehab Center staff & Broad Reach Hospice staff for the outstanding care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days during her brief stay.

Kat had chosen not to have any services.
