her grandparents were Cherokee. She grew up in Texas
but she always dreamt of moving to New York. That is
where She met her husband Jerry Doherty. He asked
her to marry him on the day they met. Maxine
worked for The Phone Company her entire life.
She eventually settled in Eastham, Cape Cod. Maxine
is survived by her daughter Suzanne Doherty
