Nancy Tarvers was born and raised in Virginia with her three sisters. She attended Georgetown university and got her nursing degree. She met and married Bruce Tarvers and moved back to his hometown of Provincetown. Raising her five children was only half of her story.
In her almost 50 years working for the town, starting in the original Cape End Manor, she not only cared for our Elders of Provincetown, she mentored many young nurses. She touched scores of people in so many ways as is evident in the outpouring of love we have received.
She was predeceased by her husband Bruce and her loving daughter Tracy. She leaves behind her daughters Karen Smith, Pamela Nichols, Christina Tarvers her son Michael Tarvers and loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
