It is with great sadness that the family of Armando “Ditos” Rivera Jr., announces his sudden passing on Monday, September 2, 2019, at the age of 42 years. Ditos was born on October 25, 1976 to Armando Rivera Sr and Leticia Alvir.
He attended Mother Theresa High School in Scarborough. Born in the year of the dragon, he enjoyed motorcycle and collecting spiders, “Big Brother” to so many friends, “Ninja” to others, “Ditos” to his family. He will be fondly remembered for his “no worries, I got you” because he was always looking after someone else back.
Ditos will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kressida “KC” Rualo and his daughter Keiley. Ditos is survived by his siblings and their spouses Frithzie & Jorge Alvir, Jennifer & Teddy Lancaon, Audie & Rose Rivera, Richard & Ruth Rivera, Carmela Tiangco and Bernadette & Gerry Mendoza. Ditos will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ditos was preceded in death by his sister, Liberty Rivera and father, Armando Rivera Sr.
Visitation for Armando will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 4 to 8 pm at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, West Hill. Again on Sunday September 8, 2019 from 2 - 8 pm. The funeral service will take Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11 am at St Joseph Highland Creek Catholic Church, 200 Morrish Rd, Scarborough, ON M1E 2S2. Burial will follow at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.
