Audley passed away suddenly while participating in a soccer tournament in Barbados on May 23, 2026, and was finally returned home on July 11, 2026.
We are devastated, struggling to come to terms with a loss that feels impossible to comprehend. The only thing that keeps us barely okay is knowing that he died doing what he loved most and that he is now reunited with our dad once again.
Anyone who knew Audley knew that soccer was woven into the fabric of his life. Whether he was playing, watching, coaching, or talking about the game, his passion was unmistakable. The soccer field was where he found joy, and where his competitive spirit, camaraderie, and love of life shone brightest.
But even soccer took second place in his heart. His greatest source of pride and purpose was his two daughters. He loved them fiercely and unconditionally. They were the center of his world, and he dedicated himself to being the kind of father who showed up, encouraged, protected, and celebrated every milestone in their lives.
Audley, born on October 8, 1967, in Kingston, Jamaica to Phyllis and Carlton Taffe, is survived by his beloved daughters, Jasmine and Chantelle; his mother, Phyllis; his sister Colene and brother-in-law Tony; sister Simone and brother-in-law Prav; his nieces Danielle, Taylor and Sommer; his nephews Mitchell and Pearce; as well as extended family, dear friends, teammates, and countless others who will miss him beyond words.
Audley will forever be remembered for his big dreams, his athleticism, and his incredible ability to make us all laugh.
May he rest peacefully in paradise.
A visitation for Audley will be held on Tuesday, August 4 from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a celebration of life at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, West Hill, ON M1E 2S2 CA.
