It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Brenda Sutton (nee: Vernon), at the age of 71 on Tuesday August 18, 2026, at her home in Scarborough, Ontario. She was born on June 30,1955 in Toronto, to the late Maurice & Vivien Vernon. In 1989 she married Stephen Wayne Sutton and lived a full and happy life together. She is survived by her husband Stephen, sister Nancy Oulton (nee: Vernon) and husband Bruce Oulton along with nieces Sarah and Emily. Brothers, Bruce and wife May and Doug and wife Cathy, nephew Matthew and niece Laura. Those who knew Brenda will remember her for her beautiful soul and always full of happiness.
A visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E, West Hill, ON M8Z 2C4 on Friday August 28, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at the same location (Giffen-Mack) on Saturday August 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM. There will be no cemetery burial following the Funeral Service as she will be cremated.
