To Flapper, my friend and classmate at L’Aventure Primary School, 
I remember the good times we had in class, as well as during recreation.  I particularly remember the many boxing and wrestling matches in which you and I were paired. We made sure that we took off our shirts before the wrestling matches so they would not get dirty.  Rest In Peace my friend🙏🏾

My sincerest sympathy goes out to Claude Forde's family on his passing. I have Known him since his days at U of T, and there after. May his soul rest in peace, until we meet again.

Saddened at the loss of Claude, a true friend to many.  He was committed to living life to its fullest, gone a little too soon.  Eternal rest grant him oh Lord. To his entire family I express deep sympathy.  RIP

Remember the day's when Claude would pick me up take me over the river in Guyana, to have a few beers and eat some fry fish, play pool. On behalf of my self and family, our sincere sympathy to all of His family, God bless, from Kenroy ( Duck).

Claude Fordie Flapper Forde was among the privileged few of us from Bagotville in the late fifties whose parents could afford the whopping$1.20 to take the ferry Queriman for High School in Georgetown .He made good use of this opportunity academically but he was the livewire of our group for his comedic antics his ability to set up a fight and a major part of our several plans to spend our meagre pocket and travel money to have fun walking home from Vreedenhoop to Bagotville or Vauxhall Looking back it was all worth it Our memories then after we left school and our valued friendships during our careers are great treasures Flapper you remain a brother to all of us May God grant you eternal Rest

Sorry my friend I could'nt help you with the pain you had to bear. Given the chance believe me I would have. Sleep in Peace as you will never be forgotten.
