Sinnott, David Peter - On Sunday May 31, 2026, Dad/Dave passed away peacefully in his sleep, at the age of 91 (turning 92 on June 30, 2026). Beloved husband of Cathy, married 66 years this November 12th, and Dad to Kari (Kevin) and Pete (Maggie). Dad was born in St. John's, NL, as the youngest of 6 - Ben, John (Jack), Agatha, Eileen and Mary (Dill).
Dad retired from Petro Canada/Gulf as an accountant/auditor. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, bowling, horse racing and camping/outdoors. He will be remembered fondly for his humour and deep affection for his family.
Funeral to be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral & Cremation Services at 4115 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough on Saturday June 20. Visitation at 11:30 AM to 1 PM, followed by 30-minute service. He will be laid to rest at Christ the King Cemetery, 7770 Steeles Ave. E., Markham. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favourite charity.
