Dennis Argyle Hindle

Dennis passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 9 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers disease.

Dennis was born in Duncan Ontario to the late Ruthven and Grace Hindle (nee McKeown). He left small town Ontario when he was 18 to head to Toronto where he began a 40 year career with Bell Canada. He married the late Shirley (nee Sandison) in 1963. Dennis spent 30 years involved in various softball leagues beginning as a coach and eventually took on the role of President of the Scarborough Softball Association. He played a lead role in organizing provincial and national softball championships on multiple occasions and spoke fondly of those roles well into his 80's.

Dennis was pre-deceased by his brother Ronald Hindle and will be dearly missed by his sister Dorine McGuire (late Ralph), daughter Corey Cameron, son Craig, daughter in law Krista and grandchildren Jordan, Evan, Zoe and Ryenn.

A private family service will be held at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetary where he will join his mother, father and brother once again.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
