Donnette Rosemarie Ottley

June 20, 1960 - September 29, 2015

The Ottley family is heartbroken to announce that Donnette Ottley passed away on Tuesday September 29, 2015 at Bridgepoint Health after a valiant battle with cancer. Donnette will be remembered as “the life of the party”, a person whose infectious laugh and beautiful energy could fill the room. Donnette leaves behind her two beloved daughters, LaToya & La-Tisha as well as her devoted mother Monica and step-father Vernon Reid. Much loved sister of Owen, Bobby (Patricia) and Lorraine (Dion) as well as special cousin to Jilly. She will be missed greatly by her five nieces, nephew and many cousins, friends and extended family members. Family and friends will be received at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E. in Scarborough, on Friday October 9, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday October 10, 11:00a.m. at Refuge City Church, 10 Fuller Rd in Ajax, ON. Interment to follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship will be set up in Donnette’s name to honour her lifelong love of learning.
