GINGRAS, Dorothy Elizabeth - It is with great affection that we remember Dorothy Elizabeth Gingras, age 85. Born November 30, 1924 in Toronto and passed away peacefully on July 1, 2010. Dorothy will be remembered by her adoring husband Maurice of 64 years, along with their four children David (Linda), Dennis, Dianne (Don) and Dorothy (Steve). She will also be missed by her grandchildren Kara (Dave), David, Melinda (Paul) and Jamie and great-grandchildren Justin, Tyler and James. Dorothy's sister-in-law Georgina and many nieces and nephews will fondly remember her. Dorothy is survived by her sister Margaret, husband Charlie and is reunited with her brother Jack. Dorothy was a very affectionate, compassionate, kind, giving and overall wonderful person. Her strength is forever admired and her legacy will never be forgotten. If you would like to pay your respects, the family will be holding visitations at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., on Monday, July 5th 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, July 6th 12-1 p.m. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
