CERRUTO, Elvira Dina - Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Sunnybrook Hospital at the age of 54 after a brave battle with cancer. Loving wife of Vince. Loving mother of Giorgio and Corrado. Predeceased by her father Corrado and her mother Corradina Luciano and her father-in-law Giorgio and mother-in-law Giovanna Cerruto. Will be missed by her loving brother Sebastiano (Tinca), sister-in-law Gina (Cono), nephew Corrado, nephew Tony (Nicole), niece Carmela (Vito) and great-nephews Milan and Luca, as well as her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Loyal employee of the City of Toronto for 35 years. Family and friends are invited to the GIFFEN-MACK SCARBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E. (one block west of Kingston Rd.), 416-281-6800, for visitation on Wednesday, March 24 from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, March 25 from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 26 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Highland Creek Catholic Church, 200 Morrish Rd. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association in Elvira' s memory.
