With his family by his side, Francis passed away in his 88th year. Loving husband of 63 years to Karen. Loving father to Joy (Alan) and Peter (predeceased). An educator all his life, Francis made an impact in the lives of the children in Toronto and Durham region. A man who had a passion for history and sports. Francis was an avid curler and a member of the Tam Heather Venerables Curling Club. A member of the Highland Creek Legion #258 and the Highland Creek Seniors Club. Francis will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege to be a part of his life.
Private arrangements have been made. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Francis.
