

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Greg Latremouille on June 8, 2026, at 61yrs old, at Scarborough Health Network, Centenary site, Toronto, Ontario. Predeceased by his father Julian and his mother Gloria, he is survived by his brother Mark and sister Karen, his nieces Ashley and Lindsey and a host of treasured friends from every stage of his life.
Greg worked at the Toronto District School board for 36 years as a Head Caretaker and had recently accepted a promotion to Compliance trainer. He was known to be a hard working, knowledgeable and generous worker, looking out for those he worked with and trained. He was lovingly referred to as ‘Mr. Greg’ by the students at his school and Greg would frequently tell stories of how these interactions touched his heart.
Greg was also a volunteer with the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary for 15 years and spoke fondly of the enduring friendships he made while there.
Greg was also a soccer enthusiast and has played from the time he could practically walk, until just recently. If there was a soccer game on, he was watching it.
Greg’s family would like to thank the EMS crew that assisted him, as well as the Toronto Police Services and the staff of Scarborough Health Network, Centenary Emergency department for the expert care, support and guidance given at this stressful time.
A visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E, West Hill, ON M8Z 2C4, on June 15, 2026 with visitation starting at 10:30 am and service starting at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations can be made in Greg’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
