Ilona Bek, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Born in Bördőce, Hungary, Ilona, together with her husband Geza, left Hungary in 1956 and ultimately settled in Canada in 1966, after a period of time living in Australia. Ilona is survived by her sons Les (Elaine) and Robert (Zelia), as well as grandchildren, Sarah, Kevin, and Mia, Zoë. Ilona was predeceased by her husband Geza, as well as her brothers Joseph, Ernö and Tibor. Funeral Service will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, West Hill, on Friday March 6th at 11:00 am.
