It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Stevenson, who passed away on August 22, 2026 at the age of 66.
Born in Scarborough, Ontario, Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Jim will be forever cherished by his beloved daughters, April and Holly. He is preceded by his mother, Mabel Stevenson; survived by his father, James Stevenson, and his brothers, Bill Stevenson, and Gary Stevenson (Abby Stevenson).
Jim had a lifelong love of rock and roll, classic cars, and the outdoors, especially boating. An entrepreneur at heart, Jim had different business adventures and was best known for his coffee truck. Curious, independent, and always willing to forge his own path, Jim found his own way through life.
Though his later years were quieter and more solitary, those that knew him will always remember his sense of humour, his love of music, and, most of all, the good times we shared. A private gathering of family will be held in Jim’s memory.
A Celebration of Life will also be organized at a later date, where family and friends will have an opportunity to come together, share stories, and celebrate the life he lived. Forever loved, never forgotten.
