Kathleen Lorraine Middleton

Kathleen (Kathy) Middleton, passed away with her beloved daughter by her side in the early morning on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the young age of 61. She was an amazing, loving, patient and protective mom and best friend to her daughter Melinda (Mel) Middleton. She’ll always be remembered as mom to Mel, along with her fur-babies, Lucy, Lu, Ozzy Oz, Pepsi Cola and Wacker. Fur-grandma to Maggie may, maxxie max, patches, and peanut. She is pre-deceased by her grandpa Richard “Dick” Bragan, Ada Martin, Pat Middleton and, Jean and Raymond Edwards.

Kathy will be remembered for her beautiful smile, eclectic taste in music, love of dogs, koala’s and foxes, and her protective nature of those she loves, especially Mel, fur-babies and grandbabies. She loved the show Supernatural, horror and sci-fi movies, Star Wars, cooking, baking, sewing and crafting.

Her Motto in life was “family don’t end in blood, but it doesn’t start their either, family cares about you, not what you can do for them. Family is there through the good, the bad, all of it. They have your back, even when it hurts. That’s Family.” Which of course comes from Supernatural.

From Mel, You were born into this world as a fighter and you left this world fighting right up to the very end. You always valued the good times and the little things. You went through things such a great person should never have to experience, but you always made it through the bad storms to the sunny bright side. You will always be my Momma Bear/Yoda and I will always and forever be your Baby Bear/Grogu.

A Funeral Service will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, West Hill, ON M1E2S2, CA, on June 10, 2026 at 1:00PM.
