Born in beautiful Barbados, September 2, 1945, passed away, May 17, 2014. Devoted daughter of Carmel and Leslie Thornhill. Swept off her feet 50 years ago by her true love Valon Bynoe. Adoring big sister to Geoffrey Hollingsworth and his wife Gwen, William Thornhill, the late Bruce Thornhill and Keith Thornhill and his wife Brenda. Caring niece to Rudolph (Dyke) Hollingsworth and his wife Shirley. Tender mother to Cheryl-Ann, Troy and his wife Sammi and Jonathan. Dear auntie to Lisa, Lana, Jennifer and Jason. A fun cousin and loyal friend. Visitation for Marcia will take place Monday May 26th, 5-9pm at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave East in Scarborough, Ontario. The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 27th, 11am at Church of the Nativity, 10 Sewells Road, Scarborough, Ontario. In faith, we will see her again, dear wife, mother, sister and friend. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church’s after-school program would be most welcome.
