Marion Alice Bryan

March 16, 1930 – December 25, 2016

Marion passed away quietly on the evening of December 25, 2016 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was a wife of 64 years to George Bryan; a mom to her children, Cathy Button (David) and James Bryan (Carol); Nana to her grandchildren, Laura Genier (Ryan), Andrew Button (Melinda), and Douglas, Mikayla, Jeffrey (deceased) and Colin Bryan; and Great Nana to her great-grandchildren, Alyson and Benjamin Genier.

Marion will always be remembered for her quick smile and that bright twinkle in her eyes. She loved nothing better than to be surrounded by little ones, and took great pleasure in the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marion was a very active member of St. Ninian’s Anglican Church and later St. Peter’s Anglican Church, both in Scarborough, where she served on several committees and made many friends over the years.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Hilltop Manor for their loving care of our mom. Your kindness made a difference.

A memorial service will be held on Monday January 2nd, 11:00 am at Hilltop Manor, 42 Elliott St. Cambridge.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated.
