Maureen was born in Belfast Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1947, where she eventually met Norman through the youth group at Melville Church.
Maureen worked in a law office in Toronto early on.
They were married at Melville Church in June 1954 and started to build their home on Beechgrove Drive where they eventually had 5 children.
She also went on to be the church secretary at Melville for 25yrs. Maureen was always keeping busy with volunteering in the community and also at the hospital She was also involved in the Orange Lodge and organized so many dances and get togethers.
There are so many great memories of our family travelling from the east coast and as far as California camping along the way.
Her love, patience, and kindness toward everyone was endless. Both her and dad shared so many of these incredible qualities, as well as generosity and a sense of humour.
Maureen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.
The family would like to send out a great big thank you to all the caregivers that were all so supportive, kind and patient with our Mother. They all were sincerely so helpful and supported us along this love Journey.
Thank you to Tara, Eric, Franseca, Mona Jordan, Andy, Maria, Ronal, and Mohomand.
