Pat Anthony Vargas

Pat Anthony affectionately known as “Mr. T, Trini, Sak Passe” was the loving life partner of Cheree Grandison for 35 years. He was the beloved son of Philoman Ferguson (predeceased) formerly of Baytown, Texas, USA, and Trinidad and Tobago, and Elizabeth Verona Vargas (predeceased) formerly of Montreal, Quebec and Palo Seco, Trinidad. He was the first of four children. Grandson of Uric Vargas (predeceased) of Palo Seco, Trinidad.

Loving father of Trisha Alleyne-Joseph, Tika Simone Cato (of Vancouver, Canada), Chanice Alleyne-Vargas, and Aaron Grandison-Vargas of Toronto, Canada. Grandfather of Kyla, Kaylen, Kehlani Alleyne-Joseph.

Dear brother of Suzanne, Suzette (predeceased) and Sharon Roberts of Toronto, Canada. Uncle of Winston, Wayne, Janelle, and Samantha Roberts of Montreal, Quebec. Grand-uncle of nine. Nephew of Lawrence, Ralph, Vernon, Joseph and Patrick Vargas (all predeceased) of Palo Seco, Trinidad, and Francis Vargas of Philadelphia, USA. Cousin of Elvis Hamilton, Clover and Crimson Vargas, Mervyn and John Price, Ann and Chris Osborne, Judith and Bernard Edwards and many others. Godfather to Dwayne and Devon Roach, David Goodridge-Forde, Shneice Noriega, Jay Joseph and four others. Close, adopted family friend of the Mathurin, Bacchus, Roach, Cuffy, Brown, Gooding, Dhanilal families and others.

He was a social butterfly, and he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by all. Gone too soon. Sleep In Heavenly Peace.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave, E, Scarborough, on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
