Richard Joseph Hill

He Joins his parent Ivan and Catherine Hill. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his brother Ron (Helen), his sister Michelle (Alan) and his paternal brother Larry (Rochelle). He will also be lovingly remembered as an uncle to Gareth, Michael, Noah (mother Janyce), and Lana.

Rick lived life on his own terms, embracing a carefree spirit and finding joy in the small things. He had a deep love for cycling and spent many years living life as a bike courier throughout Toronto. Those who knew Rick will remember his independent spirit, his unique way of seeing the world, and the simple pleasures he found along the way.

Rick was also a loving and devoted father to his beloved cat, Monkee, who was a cherished part of his life.

Service details:

Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, ON, on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the same location on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with reception immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto Humane Society in Rick’s memory.
