Sherwin Altamirano Diaz

September 25, 1974 – August 19, 2023

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Sherwin, 48, who journeyed to the eternal realm on August 19, 2023. Born on September 25,1974, he brought immeasurable joy to late Jose G. Diaz and Josephine A. Diaz and everyone who knew him.

An unwavering friend, a loving son, and a devoted brother, Sherwin had a special place in his heart for our canine companions. His boundless love for dogs was a testament to his compassionate and caring nature, comedian like our Dad and putting smiles on everyone or anyone that he encounters. Sherwin enjoys painting, cooking, walking his dogs and biking.

He leaves behind a legacy of having a big heart, loyal, loving caring, which continue to inspire us. Sherwin is survived by Josephine, Sherr Marie, Sherlaine, Sean Charles, Austin Jared, Frances Ester Rose, brother-in-law Jose Jared Ginete IV, Thirteen and Lucky who will forever hold him dear.

A visitation for Sherwin will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Giffen Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario M1E2S2. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Giffen Mack Funeral Home.
