Stewart Nairn Pearson

PEARSON, Stewart Nairn passed away peacefully on Thursday June 27, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Oxford, England to Mary and John Nairn Pearson (both deceased). He celebrated 50 years of marriage with his beloved Christine (now reunited) and was a cherished father to Alexander (Amanda), Claire, Frazer (Vicki) Vanessa, Daniel, Ian, and Helen (Richard). He was a loving Uncle to Nathan and Gavan and a caring Brother-in-Law to Philip. Stewart will be warmly remembered by his grandchildren Marilynn, Nicholas, Kirsten, Emma, Oscar, Clark and Jaxen, and by his great-grandchildren Aryka, William, and James.

Stewart's life was defined by kindness, generosity, devotion to his family, and was enriched by a profound love for the arts, history, music and literature. His gentle soul touched all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.

Stewart brought passion and integrity to his five-decades-long career in Toronto's real estate finance industry, making countless friends in colleagues, clients and collaborators.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the team at Centenary Hospital (SHN) for their exceptional care, compassion and unwavering support.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours on Friday, July 5th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue E., Scarborough, ON. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home, on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 2 p.m., with an additional visitation hour preceding the service.
