Dixie was born on May 14, 1931 in Credo, West Virginia. She was the loving daughter of the late Bascom and Hazel Pack. Dixie graduate from Credo Kenova High School in 1949. Dixie was valedictorian of her graduating class. She was a faithful member of Northwood and Village Baptist churches for over 55 years.
She is survived by her son Michael (Kathy) Hager; daughter Teresa Leigh Gilles, two grandsons: Michael A. and Matthew J. Gilles; two granddaughters: Brandi L. Hager and Taylor Csere; and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dixie’s memory may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, November 5th at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th at 2:00 PM in Woodlawn Cemetery.
