To all of Shine's loved ones-Your family is such a big part of my memories-your folks especially. They were a lot like ours and best of friends. So glad they had a life long friendship and shared so many stories of their early years together. I remember thinking that if I couldn't have my mom and dad-then I wanted yours (not all those siblings necessarily-you were a bit overwhelming to us quieter Bishop kids-but definitely your folks! lol) As I got older, I realized you kids were lovely also. (And I swear I am not such a brat anymore). Glad to know Glenn and Shine are off to their chananigans together-it's only fitting. Who knows what trouble they are brewing. How ironic that Shine and his lifelong friend, Glenn Bishop , should pass away so very close in time . The stories that they would tell we're never ending ...on and on ..so many aughs . Glenn and I enjoyed our trip to  Alaska with Shine and  Alice . Great memories ! Good luck , kids !  and don't fight too much

Our condolences to the Henderson Family. Shine was like another dad, along with Alice. You always felt like you were part of their household. The good memories are plentiful, they made us wish we lived in Florida too.They lived full lives and touched many others. A car full of kids and off to the beach...more fruit trees took over the yard...Shine in his workshop...sitting around the big table...just lots of memories.I'm sure him and Dad are having a great time now, the stories are flowing. Thinking of you all.

Dearest Uncle Shine will be so sorely missed. You made us laugh and you were so much fun to be around.  You were so incredibly talented and I will forever cherish the beautiful printers box you gave me along with my memories of you and the incredible family you and dear Aunt Alice created. I love you XO
