John Wilder Daniel

John Wilder Daniel, age 80, passed away November 13, 2014 at his home. He was born in Waynesboro, GA., to F.Lorrie Daniel and Mamie Glover Daniel on April 7, 1934. John served honorably in the US Army and upon discharge met and married Betty Jo Hayes on January 10, 1959.

They moved to West Palm Beach in 1960 where John worked for Pratt & Whitney, Eastern Airlines, Lockheed Aeromod, and Palm Beach Glass Specialties, retiring finally in 2013.

He is predeceased by his parents, brother William, and sister Carolyn Ruth Daniel. John is survived by his wife; Betty Jo, children; Jodie (Donill) Kenney, Greg (Rosemary) Daniel, grandchildren; Joshua (Vicki), Nicole and Haylee Daniel, Cassandra and Danielle Kenney, great grandchildren; Michael, Makayla and Maliyah Martin, Jacob and Abigail Daniel and many other family members and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33417 on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 12:30 to 2:30pm. Memorial Service to follow at 2:30.

Interment with Military Honors at the South Florida National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
