

Michael was born in Newport, Rhode Island to Robert and Irene Kintzel. He graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1971. He attended the University of South Florida and graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Cinematography. He was married to Sharon Williams on November 9th, 2002.
Michael worked at Channels 12 and 29, and freelanced until 1985. He then opened Parallax Productions, a video production company. Over the years he received numerous awards, including Addys, for excellence in his field. He was a devoted and active member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, his sisters Mary Kintzel and Rita Helms (Ashley), and his beloved nieces and nephews Joey Kintzel, Aaron Kromrey, Sarah Kromrey, Lauren and Kara Barnhart, Jonathan and Christopher Kromrey, and Cole Schaeffer.
A memorial mass will be held at St. John Fisher Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. on April 28th, followed by a reception and a celebration of life at the church hall.
