I am so sorry to hear about Ralph's passing. I just heard about it today.

Our family was very saddened to hear of Ralph's recent struggles and demise.  Thinking of him conjures happy memories of growing up in Mount Vernon, NY, and his mother Olympia (!), my grandmother Rose's sister.  We are glad that we read his wonderful book about life in Italy circa WWII days.  We will miss his smile and the twinkle in his eyes.  The restaurant will remain a tribute to Ralph and his family. With a personality as vibrant and bold as Ralph Zucarrelli, it’s hard to isolate a single moment in time and just one memory. I want to share many memorable times walking into the restaurant and being greeted with a smile that was radiant from ear to ear and always a kiss on both cheeks for a pretty girl. Ralph was always a shining star and took pride in making a wonderful pizza, the best in Palm Beach County. It was a treat for all, but if he knew you, he made sure it was extra special and from the heart. When I was indecisive about what I wanted because everything on the menu was always so wonderful. He made me one of his favorite dishes, chicken lemone loaded with peppercinni  and wonderful flavors… of course I could only order that when he was there to make it. Ralphs love for cooking and people showed with the pride he showed in the restaurant, quality of food served by alll the Zuccarelli family , but most of all his love of family was glowing . I was fortunate enough to hear what a wonderful father he was and how he would step up to bat at a moments notice without caring about any consequences to protect his daughter & loved ones . OLIMPIA was the shining star of his life until Michael came along and shared the spotlight. Ralph always boasted about how smart, special, strong and kind they were and are. And then there was Willaim his beautiful grandson that was yet another gift in his life, he shined whenever he was around him. My memory of Ralph simply stated is that he was a talented hard-working, wonderful man with a heart of gold, a wonderful friend, father, grandfather, who loved life to the fullest and that is the what we all  always remember, talk about & what will kerp his spirit and memories alive forevermore ❤️

RIP Mr. Zuccarelli..you were the best..you worked so hard for your delicious pizza and the fabulous meals! God bless you-I’m sorry you’re going to miss your little Grandson…as well as the rest of you family!!💔💔💔

So sorry to hear about your dad’s passing … I first met your dad back in the late 70’s when they opened their restaurant in Margate. He was a real gentleman and a pleasure to be around and do business with. He also ran the cleanest kitchen I’ve ever seen!….. please extend my condolences to Francis……
