DEVORE, Reva M. of West Palm Beach, formerly of Newton, Massachusetts, wife for 56 years of Lawrence Devore, passed away on November 6, 2018 after valiantly fighting Heart Disease for many years. Reva, 77, was the daughter of the late Meyer and Rose Magerer. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Magerer and her identical twin sister, Susan Faber. Reva had three sons whom she loved dearly and unequivocally, Jeffrey (Amy) of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Mark (Debra) of Calabasas, California, and Scott (Meredith) of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Benjamin, Ashley, Evan, Emily and Maddyn all of whom she loved passionately. Reva was very close to her daughter’s in-law, brother’s in-law, sister’s in-law, nieces and nephews. All of them were very special to her, and she treasured their relationship. A graduate of Newton High School and Boston University, Reva had many life time friends in Florida and Massachusetts, Roz and the Golden Girls, all of whom helped her out in her time of need. The family wishes to say thank you. They would also like to thank her physicians, Dr. Eldrin Lewis and Dr. Laurence Epstein of Boston, Dr. Kenneth Rappaport of Boynton Beach, and Dr. Edgar Abovich of Jupiter for their wonderful doctoring allowing Reva to lead a normal family life. For many years, Reva had her own business, Neck Art by Reva. She loved creating her original necklaces, and many people honored her by wearing them. As Dad, I thank my sons, Jeffrey, Mark, and Scott for being the best sons that a Mother could have, always being kind, considerate and looking out for her. No Mother could ask for more. Services will be held at the IJ Morris Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 12:00 Noon. Please make donations in her memory to Temple Israel, 1901 North Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407.
