I am Scott’s Aunt Jimmie , his Mother was my older sister. Over the years we were close but of course as we got older we went our different ways. Scott started a new career, I moved from Dallas to Alabama. Sorry to say we lost touch with each other. I called Scott when my son , his cousin Lee passed away and shortly after he called me about his Mother’s passing. We promised to stay in touch more often but unfortunately we didn’t. I will always remember his sweet dimples!!! He is in heaven with his Mom , my son and now my grandson ! Couldn’t be family here on earth but in heaven they can be.❤️❤️

I sadly found out today my brother has gone to Heaven with our FatherLord, I his little brother am heart broken & sad. But trust the Lord, I respected my brother so much & looked up to him, I so wish we had been closer, I love you Scott, I just was found Cancer free, I don’t know details. I wish he got to enjoy life more, I wish he could see his influence on me & Gods. Hopefully he will, wish he could have met his nephew that will be with us in 4 months. Again I love you Scott & Michelle from me & my wife Michelle we are very sorry for your loss. 🙏🏻wish I knew how to reach you to offer my condolences. My best memory of my memory of my brother was how proud I was the day he left to go to Floridia to take the job at the Ever Glades, & when I was I was 11 & had been abused at camp he drove accross the country to pick me up he was my savior that night, he never asked what happened he just came for me when no one else did, thank you Scott, love you again my Brother.    I am so sorry to learn of Scott passing away. I met Scott the first day he came to the Everglades Club. I gave him the tour of the Club and introduced him to the Board of Directors .  I so enjoyed working for him and he had such a great vision and energy as the new Club Manager.  My thoughts are with you, such a loss.

Our deepest condolences to Scott’s family. I had the privilege of working with Scott recently and was in awe of his talent, leadership and humor. Dear Michelle,

There are no words to express the devastation of loosing Scott. He was the greatest leader, colleague, mentor and friend for many of us at the Club. I worked for him for 12 years and I am at a loss as to how we can go on without him and his guidance. He is irreplaceable with his knowledge of the Club, the members, the kitchen, his funny jokes and his true care for all the employees.

This news was so sudden and in a million years I never would expect we had to say good bye in this manner.

I know we never met in person but we always talked about our families and he deeply loved you and admired you as a strong woman who always gave him comfort and were his best friend, the person he trusted the most.   There is nothing anyone can say to take away your pain and heartache however, please know we will keep you in our prayers always to help you be strong and endure these difficult times;  I will always be so proud to have been part of his staff and his legacy.
